IAC Aerobatic Schools Liaison and founder Miriam Levin has resigned due to increasing demands for her talents. IAC South-Central Region Director Lynn Bowes has accepted the role.
The IAC Aerobatic Schools listing found at http://www.iacusn.org/schools/ is the brainchild of President Vicki Cruse, who contacted Miriam Levin and Doug Lovell in 2008 as volunteers to get it up and running. Miriam provided business process expertise to make the site work, and has driven that process for these five years to assemble the listing and keep it up to date. All of the schools listed have contact with the schools liaison at least annually to ensure the listings are current.
Lynn Bowes as a Director has worked hard along with IAC member David Moll on raising awareness and participation in the IAC Collegiate Program. Her work with colleges and universities suggested the connection with schools, and... There you go. Thanks to Lynn for taking-on liaison with the aerobatic schools around the world and the task of maintaining the IAC Aerobatic Schools directory.
