IAC Rules Committee Chairman Brian Howard has just released the report of the IAC Rules Committee that deals with the proposals submitted by members this year for consideration and possible adoption into our 2016 IAC Official Contest Rules. Deadline for rules proposals was 1 July 2015. The document is attached below as a PDF.
The Rules Committee reviewed all of the proposals and voted on whether to send them to the Board or to reject the proposals. Those which were not adopted by the Rules Committee are attached as an appendix to the report with the rationale for their rejection.
Members are invited to comment on these proposals. You can send your comments to iacrulescomments@gmail.com. They will be compiled and included in the agenda packages that the Board will review when it meets in Oshkosh on 4-5 November. The Board makes the final determination as to which proposals will become formal rules.
Deadline for submission of comments is 18 October 2015.
