AirVenture:
IAC’s Membership Committee will establish a membership recruitment program for 2014 AirVenture Oshkosh
Committee Chairpersons and Members:
All eligible chairpersons were reappointed by the Board, except:
Rob Holland replaces Doug Sowder as ICAS Liaison
Margo Chase is appointed chair of the Marketing Committee
Reggie Paulk replaces Doug McConnell as chair of the Editorial Oversight Committee
Doug McConnell now becomes a member of that committee
All committee members were appointed as recommended by the chairpersons; details in agenda packet
Judge Education and Certification Programs:
These programs will be expanded to add:
at-contest recertification program for judges who’ve lost grading currency
at-contest and home-study training for new judges, ultimately qualifying them to grade at regional contests
at-contest and home-study training for new judges, ultimately qualifying them to grade at regional contests

U.S. Nationals:
Gray Brandt is approved as 2014 Contest Director
Casey Erickson is approved as 2014 Assistant Contest Director
Proposed updates to P&P 503 affecting glider pilots are approved (see final agenda packet)
Most proposed updates to P&P 504 affecting team selection are approved
Casey Erickson is approved as 2014 Assistant Contest Director

U.S. Teams:
IAC terminates its relationship with USAAAT and assumes its functions
Alice Johnson is named as U.S. Advanced Team manager

WAAC 2016:
US will bid Borrego Springs, CA as the site of the 2016 World Advanced Aerobatic Championships
2014 Director Elections:
Elections will be conducted via IAC website and tip-in ballot, delivered in May Sport Aerobatics, in which required notices and candidate profiles will also appear
2014 Official Contest Rules:
Rules Committee will undo all changes to the 2014 rulebook and return to the 2013 language, except for changes explicitly approved by the board
