Members were requested to respond to iacrulescomments@gmail.com with their views and opinions on these proposals. However, to make this more efficient, the Rules Committee has introduced a "survey style" method for members to comment. To begin the survey, please click on this link:

A Celebration of Jim Taylor’s Life will be held on August 18th at Sky Harbor Airpark in Webster, MN. It will be at Chuck and Jody Doyle’s place.  It will start at 1:00 with Divine Swine catering lunch at 2:00. With deep sadness we share the news of the sudden passing of Mark Fullerton, IAC #434474, of Calhoun, Georgia.

Mark was a member of IAC 3 and frequent Contest Director for the Bear Creek Bash in Georgia. He started his aerobatic career with Michael Church of Sunrise Aviation. In recent years, he earned a place as a member of the 2014 and 2016 U.S. Advanced Aerobatic Teams. Again, he earned a spot on the 2018 U.S. Advanced Aerobatic Team as Alternate and subsequently was named Manager of the 2018 Team.

The deadline for submission for IAC members to propose changes to the IAC Official Contest Rules for the 2019 contest season was July 1st. These have now been compiled in a 53 page document by IAC Rules Chair Brian Howard. Altogether, 46 proposals from the membership were received.
