Over the past few weeks you've had a chance to visit the web and preview Oshkosh: The Spirit of Aviation, EAA's beautiful new video about AirVenture Oshkosh. Now you can see the complete, 17-minute version, which is available for viewing or download through the AirVenture website. Stream it online through EAA's embedded video player or download to your own system and view whenever you'd like. Several resolutions are available, allowing you to choose the most compatible version for your system, including portable players like Apple's iPod.
Oshkosh: The Spirit of Aviation is narrated by actor Harrison Ford, an EAA member, pilot, and chairman of the EAA Young Eagles program. It presents an insider's look of people who share the passion for aviation as they participate in "The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration." The video is a great way to show those who've never experienced Oshkosh a glimpse of what makes it special, year after year. And for AirVenture veterans, it will make you yearn for July and the chance to return to aviation's most beloved annual event.
Shot and produced by the award-winning EAA Video staff, the video also plays three times a day in glorious high definition at the EAA AirVenture Museum's Skyscape Theater. If you have the chance, this provides the ultimate viewing experience.
EAA will send five DVD copies to each EAA chapter so they can show newcomers a snapshot of what makes Oshkosh aviation's annual family reunion.
