EAA/IAC Webinar 2013 Presenters Needed!

The IAC has joined the EAA in providing speakers to present material online at the EAA webinar series.
IAC has provided presenters every month since June 2011.  We are excited about the added value this brings to the EAA webinar series as a club, sharing valuable information about unusual attitude flying and gaining some exposure for the IAC as part of the EAA.

We are currently booking speakers for the webinars in 2013.  The time slot is typically on a Tuesday or Wednesday at 7pm CST during the 2nd or 3rd week of each month.

We are looking for speakers for the remainder of the year, but have a particular need for April, May and June.

From the perspective of the IAC, we are focusing on providing more webinars on flight control usage that is outside of the norm, but not considered aerobatics.  IAC'ers are the stick and rudder experts of the EAA but have been limited in our ability to teach or demonstrate aerobatics due to insurance issues.  However, discussing stick and rudder techniques that are outside of what the typical general aviation pilot is taught is very useful.  Webinar topics may include spin avoidance, basic aerodynamic principles, low speed stalls in coordinated turns, avoiding loss of control, and other similar topics.  These type of topics usually attract anywhere from 300 to 500 listeners.

If you would like to present a compatible topic in 2013 as outlined above, IAC would be very interested in hearing from you.

If you have not had an opportunity to see any of the previous webinars, they are recorded and stored at the EAA webinar Archives.  http://www.eaavideo.org

Thank you for considering volunteering for this valuable benefit to the EAA/IAC membership!
