As a key ingredient in "The New IAC" initiative announced by IAC President Mike Heuer in the January issue of Sport Aerobatics, a new family of IAC logos has been rolled out this month in the culmination of a months-long project to re-brand IAC and to update our look and image. That project was undertaken by IAC's marketing chair, Margo Chase of California, who is a marketing and branding professional, a long-time IAC member, and active pilot and competitor.
All of IAC's logos and monograms have been re-designed yet retain the shield that has been IAC's hallmark since 1970. The design work has included not only IAC's logos but also those of the US Aerobatic Teams (Unlimited, Advanced, and Glider) as well as the US National Aerobatic Championships.
An example of the new IAC logo is shown below. Click here for a detailed description of our new graphics and colors. The official IAC Brand Guide is now complete and available here as downloadable logo "assets" for use by IAC groups, contest organizers, and officials.
The January issue of Sport Aerobatics features a three-page article by Margo Chase on the new logos as well.
