The initial schedule for the 2022 U.S. National Aerobatic Championship has been posted here: www.iac.org/nationals-2022-schedule. The schedule is subject to change for delays created by weather, so it will be updated onsite during the competition.
In addition to the flight schedule itself, included are times and dates to sign up for unreserved practice slots, tech inspection hours, and hours of registration and volunteer signups.
Sunday, October 2 is the Opening Ceremonies, a general briefing and a briefing for the first flight of the championships - the Advanced category Known program. The same evening there is a casual gathering planned at the Hilton Garden Inn with snacks and a cash bar. The big screens in the banquet room will be set up to broadcast the Kansas City Chiefs game against Tampa Bay.
Tuesday, October 4 all IAC members are invited to gather at The Garage for a fun-filled evening of comradery, food and drink. The Garage is a world-class museum that educates young and old through entertaining interactive displays, serves as a gathering place for enthusiasts from around the globe, and develops industry/sponsor partnerships to encourage restoration and preservation of automotive treasures.
Friday, October 7 is the Nationals Award Ceremonies and Banquet at the Hilton Garden Inn.
