Read moreThe aerobatics portion of the World Air Games has now been completed and US National Aerobatic Champion Rob Holland (shown below) brings home a Bronze medal for his third place finish overall. The powered aerobatics pilots flew a Known, Free, Free Unknown, and 4 Minute Freestyle and unlike classical competitions like WAC, the 4 Minute was counted in the final results.

The 2016 theme will be "Grass Roots to the Top of the World" and the exhibit will provide an overview of IAC, aerobatics, and the menu of choices that are available to members and enthusiasts for becoming involved in aerobatics.

Current US National Aerobatic Champion Rob Holland left two days ago for the Emirates and will practice at the contest site on December 1st. Rob will fly Zoltan Veres' MXS.
