If you are working a page that has a link to a PDF file or a PDF attachment, please apply the PDF taxonomy tag to the page. To do so, edit the page, scroll down past the page content and look for a dialog box marked Tags. In the box, simply type "PDF" (no quotes), and click on the Save button.
When the system displays the page, it will add a block in the sidebar that invites the user to get Adobe's PDF Reader:
