The Experimental Aircraft Association was extremely saddened to learn of the passing of longtime EAA president Tom Poberezny on Monday morning, July 25, after a brief illness.
 
Tom was EAA president from 1989-2010, succeeding his father, EAA founder Paul Poberezny.

Linda Hamer, IAC 7223 of Peru, Illinois passed peacefully at home July 6. A celebration of life service will be August 6 at Trinity United Church of Christ in LaSalle.

Linda was born in Peru on November 10, 1940, to Milton and Berth (Shoffner) Couleter. Linda married Gerald Hamer on April 1, 1961.  She was a leader as a real estate professional in the Illinois River Valley. She passionately embraced activities she enjoyed most; flying being foremost. She owned and operated one of the first flight schools at the Peru Regional Airport, Aerial Enterprises, Inc.

The initial schedule for the 2022 U.S. National Aerobatic Championship has been posted here: www.iac.org/nationals-2022-schedule.  The schedule is subject to change for delays created by weather, so it will be updated onsite during the competition.

In addition to the flight schedule itself, included are times and dates to sign up for unreserved practice slots, tech inspection hours, and hours of registration and volunteer signups.…
