IAC Policy and Procedures Section 229 (which governs the Sequence Program) provides the proposed sequences to be available for member comment for the next 30 days. Deadline September 30, 2023, 1700 CST. Feedback must be received within the 30-day comment period for these 2024 sequences.  PDFs of the proposed Power and Glider knowns for 2024 are available for download below.   With the exception of the Primary Power which the sequence committee recommends remains unchanged from 2023.

The submission deadline for IAC members to propose changes to the IAC Official Contest Rules for the 2024 contest season was July 1st. These proposals have now been compiled. A total of 46 proposals from the membership were received. A PDF with all of the rule proposals is available for download below.  Although organized some to assist with evaluation of similar inputs, these are generally listed in the order received.

Lew Shattuck was selected by the IAC Hall of Fame committee and the Board of Directors to be inducted into the International Aerobatic Hall of Fame for 2023. The official ceremonies took place in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on November 9, 2023.

Before getting started in aerobatics, Lew Shattuck enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1952. While serving, Shattuck gained experience flying many different military fighter aircraft. In the summer of 1966, Shattuck was captured after his F-105 was shot down in North Vietnam and was kept as a prisoner for more than six years before being released. He…

It came as a simple inquiry on who might want to take over the Acroexploder followed rapidly by an announcement. "For health reasons I can no longer manage the Exploder. It was quite some time ago that I started it. I think it worked well for all these years. Peter H. Schmidt will manage the Exploder from now on," posted by Dr. Guenther Eichorn on July 7, 2023.
