Like many others, Clisten V. Murray IAC 1696 was hooked on aviation as a young boy when an occasional plane flew over his family’s southern Indiana farm. He passed away January 27, 2020 having lived a long and healthy life to the age of 97 until undergoing a heart valve repair in September 22, 2019.

His first flight took place in Vincennes, Indiana in the 80s. He traveled to Boulder, Colorado to take his first aerobatic lesson. He said he felt very privileged to take that first aerobatic lesson with Betty Stewart, two-time Women’s World Aerobatic Champion.

Appleton Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53225, starting at 2 p.m. CDT on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
