The organizers of the 6th FAI World YAK-52 Aerobatic Championship have advised there are not enough entries for the championship. Because the YAK-52 championship is being held in conjunction with the 3rd FAI World Intermediate Aerobatic Championship, the YAK-52 entrants were invited to compete in the Intermediate championship. With planning already in place, the USA YAK-52 team elected to continue on and accepted the invitation to compete in the Intermediate championship.

The deadline for IAC Rules Change proposals is July 1, as noted in Section 1 of the IAC Contest Rules. If you're planning to propose a rules change, the best way to do so is to go to this address: https://www.iac.org/propose-rule-change, fill out the form, and hit "Submit". In March, we first publicized on our website an IAC annual membership dues increase to $60, starting on May 1. After a discussion of the labor and testing needed by the EAA's IT staff to implement this change, we've pushed the roll out of the new membership rate back to October 1.
 
Unfortunately, our budget for 2022-2023 is partially based on this increase. Since we will not be able to raise dues for 6 months yet, our services to IAC members will be affected, especially a new upgrade to our IAC.org website.

Sebring is fast approaching!  Sebring represents one of the best opportunities to score great ranking points in the National Points Series Championship (the Leo) for the Southeast region. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 will include a full roster of forums in the IAC’s Vicki Cruse Educational Pavilion at the IAC Aerobatic Center. The forums are scheduled daily from Tuesday, July 26, through Friday, July 29, 2022, and run for approximately one hour and 15 minutes each.
